January Workshop - Let's Talk About Love

$40.00

January 24th, 10am-11:30am PST with Jessica Ciencin Henriquez

Love stories are the most universal—and the hardest to write. How do we describe something that feels so uniquely ours without slipping into cliché? How do we stay honest when we only know our own point of view? In this 90-minute generative workshop, we’ll explore love’s full arc—from the first spark of connection to the ache of heartbreak to the quiet transformation that follows. Together, we’ll read short excerpts that capture love in its many forms—romantic, familial, self-love—and look closely at what makes them resonate. Through guided reflection and gentle writing prompts, you’ll learn to translate these feelings into language, to write scenes that breathe, and to uncover your own emotional truth on the page.

This class is for anyone drawn to explore love as both a mirror and a teacher. No writing experience is required—only curiosity, honesty, and a willingness to look inward. Participants will leave with new pages, fresh perspective, and a renewed sense of how writing can deepen our understanding of the stories our hearts keep telling.
