  • Anyone with a desire to deepen their writing practice, start something new, or explore their creativity. Hopefully you!

  • We host 3-4 a year.

  • It will depend on accommodations, but around 15 attendees is average. We like to keep the group intimate, so we can give our attention to every guest. This way, we have the chance to form strong bonds and truly connect with one another. 

  • Yes. This by no means is only for writers who write for a living. We help writers connect to their voice, find their stories, launch their career, and hone their craft. Writers of all levels are encouraged to join us. 

  • We welcome partnerships of many levels, from guest teachers to meditation and yoga leaders. Please contact us if you are interested in future opportunities.

  • We will certainly try! We have a wonderful network of publications ready and willing to publish work from our retreats. We also are launching the Trust and Travel Journal and we would love to see your work there.  

  • Yes. There is a $500 deposit to hold your spot and then your payments are scheduled two weeks after that. If you would like an extended payment plan all you have to do is ask and we will work to accommodate you.

  • We believe writing is a muscle. We believe all genres, exercises, and types of writing serve the same purpose: hone your craft. We encourage our writers to try every workshop we host, ranging from short stories to travel essays, memoirs, how to find your story, poetry, and more.

  • Your deposit is non-refundable. Please see our terms and conditions for further details.

  • Take a chance, you might love it! All you need is an inkling for creativity and a curious mind. We have had many attendees come who don’t consider themselves “writers.” And they find that the act of expression and tuning into one’s inner landscape is a rich experience no matter your creative field.

  • There is a once-daily practice that you are invited to join. Depending on the retreat, this might be morning yoga, or movement and dance, or a breathwork session. We believe tuning into the body is essential to the writing practice.

  • We accept payment via PayPal. If you need an alternative method, just ask!

  • We have daily creative exercises and daily workshops. The schedule will vary but every day there will be at least one. A full itinerary will be sent to you after booking your ticket.

  • Yes! We love to share all our knowledge and resources. We typically host a q+a later in the week that covers the ins and outs of self-publishing, traditional publishing, and pitching.
