May Workshop - Writing Intimacy and the Body

$40.00

May 16th, Saturday, 10AM PST with Deepa Paul

Our body yields its wisdom when we meet it with curiosity and offer it safety. In this 1,5 hour workshop, author Deepa Paul leads a deep dive into intimacy as embodied encounter.

Together, we will explore intimacy as an encounter experienced by our bodies, and translated into knowledge that is held within our body.

Access this deep knowing with grounding exercises, guided reflections, and writing prompts for compassionate self-inquiry.

Our senses will serve as our guides into the sanctuary of our bodies, where sensation and time define the singular qualities that bring aliveness, presence and truth to our lived experiences of intimacy.

Drawing from her own experience of writing and publishing the taboo, Deepa will speak on the role permission and consent play in creating safety in our bodies, vulnerability on the page, and intimacy with our readers.

Whether you write for yourself or for an audience—to discover, to heal, to publish, or simply because writing calls to you—you'll leave with a greater understanding of your own personal language for intimacy in this loving encounter with yourself, your body, and your truth.
