There is always a territory we writers are apprehensive to venture into, and yet it is likely the very thing we should be writing about. Join us and learn what craft elements or approaches come in handy when we want to write about the so-called “forbidden”?

In this two-hour session writer, Katie Fuller, will give us a brief overview of the history of writers and the risque, touching on some familiar names and some underground favorites. Whose transgressions have paved the way for a more open and inclusive literary landscape and how? Writers will leave with a series of brainstorming prompts to fuel their next poem, story, or essay.
